This year, the trip will consist of two separate parts:
It is expected that all students in the 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensembles students participate in both events. If there is a significant financial concern or any other concern, please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate director.
There is a 3-step process to sign your child up for the Music THEN the Park:
Note for Band/Choir Doublers: Submit the permission form & payment to the band room mailbox. The band directors will share the information with Ms. Kelly.

This year, the trip will consist of two separate parts:
- An in-house Music Festival performance on the evening of Monday, April 30th, 2018
- This means that our ensembles will have an adjudicated performance followed immediately by clinic with the adjudicator.
- Then, on Friday, May 11th, 2018 students will travel to Dorney Park.
It is expected that all students in the 7th Grade Band, 8th Grade Band, Jazz Ensemble, and Percussion Ensembles students participate in both events. If there is a significant financial concern or any other concern, please do not hesitate to contact the appropriate director.
There is a 3-step process to sign your child up for the Music THEN the Park:
- Read this letter/permission slip fully.
- Fill out this online information form once for each child. (The link for this form is also included in the permission slip.)
- Have the child return the signed permission slip along with the $80 payment (in an envelope with the child's name on it) by Friday, February 23rd, 2018. Everything should be placed in the band room mailbox.
- Checks should be made payable to Randolph Middle School.
- Include the child's first & last name in the memo section of the check.
- If you are submitting a payment for multiple students (i.e. twins/siblings), please submit a separate payment for each child rather than lumping it together. This will make keeping track of the trip payments significantly easier on our end. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation!
